The traverse closed way too soon Sir. Rest easy my friend. Such a sad and tragic loss. My condolences to Tina, Saige, Jaide, Terri, Frank, Jennifer, and all of his numerous friends and relatives. Since about 1994 when Joe joined me in the Surveying profession I have watched proudly as he rapidly progressed from instrument man to super effective and inspiring manager. He transitioned from the brunt of some good natured "Hillbilly" jokes to being "The Boss"! His positive attitude and sense of humor could never be taken from him in his work or his private life. If it could only be put into all of us, we would benefit so much. Sometimes he had to work a bit harder to get to where he wanted to be, but that is who he was.There was no quit in Joe. He leaves a gaping void, but his presence will stay with all who knew him forever.

God bless you and love you Joe, I'm sorry we won't get to talk for a while Joe, but coming from a good Christian family, we know right where you are, and we will all see you relatively soon. You fought hard Joe, and it hurts to be separated, but I know you're no longer in pain, and you're now in the arms of Jesus, and surrounded by our loved ones who have gone on before. I love you Cuz, and I'll be with you soon. Even if it's another 40 years, that's just a drop in the bucket of time for you now, so meet me at the gates Cuz, will you? ;-) ♡♡♡

We were saddened to hear of Joe's passing. He battled the cancer to the fullest extent. Joe lived life to its fullest even though not as long as we would have liked. Even though he had not been living in Jasper for a great period of time, he will always be a "Jasperite". Rest in Peace, Joe, your courageous journey has ended.
