Sorry to hear of her passing. It's very sad. Also sad that I had to learn of this through rumor and not by family .... tell grandpa I said I love and miss him... Rip
I had the privilege of knowing Lucille while my dad was the pastor of the Troupsburg UMC. She always brought the most beautiful flowers to sit on the alter. I would wait for her to get there so I could "help" her place them - she would always tell me the names and let me smell them. The snapdragons were my favorite. I also remember a particular time she came with us to the dam. We sat on the blanket by the water and asked her about things that had been invented since she was born - ball point pens, toaster, radio! She was an amazing woman and will always be remembered.
Lucille was a good friend who always thought of those alone. Many a holiday meal was shared. I will miss her beautiful smile and her happy disposition. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
