Obituary of Linda Marie Bogart

            Linda Marie Bogart, 60, of Addison, NY, passed away on Sunday morning, October 15, 2017 at the Corning Center for Rehabilitation in Corning with her loving sons at her side.

            Born in Hudson, NY on January 29, 1957, Linda was the daughter of the late Emory and Mabel (Knapton) Dennison. She attended school in Addison and was a 1975 graduate of Addison Central School.

            As a young woman, Linda was employed as a seamstress at the Elkland Dress Factory as well as operating her own hair salon in Freeman which she called Country Class. She also was a homemaker and loving mother to her sons. She was a member of the Jesus Church in Addison.

            Linda moved to South Carolina where she resided for nearly 20 years. She had returned home in recent months when her illnesses became severe. After her return here, she was attending the Gateway Fellowship Church in Addison.

            Surviving are her sons and daughters in law, Carter and Christal Coykendall and Shannon and Julie Coykendall, all of Addison, her grandchildren, Kaden Coykendall, Nathen Coykendall, Darian (Alex) Raubers, Dawsan (Kailee) Coykendall, Karigan Allen, Logan Allen and Dakota Allen, her brother, Bill (Sandy) Dennison of Addison, her special and dear friends, Yvonne Youman and Kelly and Chris Woodard, along with many nieces and nephews.

            Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Emory and Mabel Dennison, her sisters, Bonnie Harrington, Margaret Robbins, Janet Stiles and Pearl Pettit, her brother, Ed Dennison and numerous nieces and nephews.

            There will be no formal funeral services. However, a memorial dinner will be held on Thursday evening, October 19 at 6 pm at the Addison Community Center on Community Drive in Addison. This will be hosted by the Gateway Fellowship Church congregation.
