Crosby Creek has lost another wonderful neighbor. My condolences to the family. I first met Maine when I was quite young, as she and my mom were friends and we would stop to see her (and Glayson, back then). She always had a warm and welcome smile. I'd play with the kids and she and mom would talk and talk. Mom loved visiting with her.
Fast forward to 1988 - when I transferred from AU to the College of Ceramics, I renewed my friendship with her, and she was still that warm and welcoming person I remembered from my childhood. She always brought a smile to my face, and when I think of her in the future, I will still smile.
To the whole family, so sorry for your loss, and I hope, even through your tears, you still smile when you think of her.
