Obituary of James W. Seeley

James W. Seeley, 63, of County Route 102, Woodhull, died suddenly at home on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Born in Westfield, Pa. on July 17, 1948, Jim was the son of Clayton and Shirley Butler Seeley. He attended Westfield High School. On April 29, 1978, Jim and the former Linda D. Main were married in Westfield. Jim was an outstanding welder, a skill that he utilized all through life. He had retired as a welder from Alstom in Hornell, NY. He had also worked for other rail car manufacturers in the past as well as working in farming and steel building construction. An avid race fan, Jim never missed a night of racing at Woodhull Raceway. Surviving is Jim's wife, Linda Seeley at home, his daughters, Paula Smith (Chad Wheeler) of Osceola, Pa., daughters, Brenda, Darcy and Justina, step son, James Dickerson of Elkland, Pa., his mother, Shirley Seeley of Westfield, his sisters, Tina Johnson of Newark, NY and Cathy Bell of Wellsboro, Pa. Also surviving are several, nieces, nephews and cousins. It was Jim's wishes that there be no visitation or funeral services.
