Obituary of Thelma L. Bryant

REXVILLE/ROCHESTER: Thelma L. Bryant, 73, formerly of Rexville and Rochester, passed away Friday (June 22, 2012) at the Steuben County Health Care Facility in Bath where she had resided since April of 2004. Thelma was born April 29, 1939 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Harry B. and Martha (Dougherty) Smith. On October 14, 1961 in Parkersburg, she married Lewis E. "Gene" Bryant who predeceased her in January of 2012. She was also predeceased by a sister Ruth Ferrell. Thelma was a life long member of the Community of Christ Church. Survivors include: two sons: Jeffrey Bryant of Hornell and Gregory (John Jameson) of Louisville, KY, a daughter, Nina (James) Warriner of Bath, three grandchildren: Amanda, Darrin and Sarah Warriner all of Bath. She is also survived by a brother Earl (Pauline) Smith of Parkersburg, WV. nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-3PM, Friday, July 6 at the Community of Christ Church in Greenwood where a memorial service will take place immediately following calling hrs. at 3 PM. A graveside committal service will follow at the Bennetts Creek Cemetery in Greenwood. Memorial contributions in Thelma L. Bryant's name may be made to the Hornell Area Humane Society, P.O.
