Obituary of Stephanie A. Gardner

       Stephanie (Brown) Gardner passed away May 22, 2018 at home with her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born September 7, 1980, in Johnstown, PA, to Wayne and Elda Brown. She was a graduate of Forest Hills High School and Bryant & Stratton College.

       Stephanie was a strong person with a soft heart. She was known for her acerbic wit, and she loved to laugh.  Stephanie never missed an opportunity to share a recipe or explain why her cooking was the best.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her dogs and family, including her husband, Charles and her three children, Riley, Morgan, and Adam (AJ).  

       She is also survived by her parents; her sisters, Jenny Brown (Daniel Michael) and Dana Sullivan (Michael Sullivan); her step-father-in-law and mother-in-law Joseph Albee and Barbara Johnson-Albee; her sister-in-law Angel Fowler; her step-children Charles,  Anastasia, and Liliyan Gardner;  and nieces and nephews Liam, Emma, and Owen Sullivan and Isabel and Evelyn Fowler.

       Family and friends are invited to celebrate Stephanie's life Saturday, May 26 at H. P. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 29 E. Main St. Canisteo, NY. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m.

       In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family in care of Charles Gardner.
