GREENWOOD: David J. Norris, 62, of Timmerman Rd. went home to be with the Lord, Friday (July 6, 2012) at Hornell Gardens following a courageous battle with cancer. David was born January 2, 1950 in Sayre, Pa. to James and Margaret (Gibbs) Norris. He had attended Florida Bible College for a short time and had attended the Canisteo Assembly of God Church and also God's People Who Care Ministries. He was well known for his love of the Lord and for his guitar playing and singing. Survivors include two sons, David Brian Norris of Wisconsin and Christopher Norris. One sister, Helen (Alfred) Chace, Jr. of Greenwood, nieces and nephews and two very close friends, Carol Rennels of Hornell and Michael Lee of Indianapolis, IN. There will be no calling hrs. Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home in Canisteo.
