Obituary of Robert G. Sullivan

Robert G. Sullivan, 58, of Ken's Park, Addison, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Corning Hospital. Bob was born in Corning on November 15, 1953. He was the son of the late William and Edith Rice Sullivan. He was raised in Addison and graduated from Addison Central School. He was employed for a short period of time at Ingersoll Rand Co. in Painted Post. He later became associated with the Golden Age Cheese Company in Woodhull where he worked for several years prior to becoming ill. He was thought of very highly there by his employers and fellow employees. Bob was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved spending time fishing. Surviving are his sisters and brothers in law, Margaret and Ed Wright of Addison, Ruth and Paul McQuown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Alice Sullivan of Addison, his brothers and sisters in law, Clarence Sullivan (Marilyn LaShomb), Charles and Emoline Sullivan, Richard and Carol Sullivan, Frank and Nancy Sullivan and William and Barb Sullivan, all of Addison and Raymond Sullivan of Corning. Bob is also survived by his uncles, Edwin Rice and Donald Rice and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Esther Shawnweis and his brother, Leon Sullivan. Friends may call on Sunday, July 15 from 2 to 6 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull. Funeral services will be held there on Monday at 11 AM with Rev. Dale Ingraham, Pastor of the Curtis Baptist Bible Church officiating. Burial will be made in Woodhull Cemetery. Memorials in Bob's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
