Obituary of Michael J. Bartholomew
HORNELL: Michael J. "Mike" Bartholomew, 51, of Aspen Lane passed away at his home August 24, 2018.
Mike was born August 7, 1967 in Sussex, N.J. to the late John and Margaret "Peggy" (Berger) Bartholomew. On October 14, 1987 in Hedgesville, N.Y. he married the former Wendy Knapp who survives and resides in Hornell.
Mike had been employed at Applebbee's Restaurant in Hornell and had also worked at the former General Marble, Co. and Friendly's Restaurant in Hornell and at Steuben ARC. Mike was a great fan of country music and thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of video games.
In addition to his wife Wendy, Mike is survived by a daughter, Reba Bartholomew of Hornell, a son Jonathan Argentieri of Hornell, his step- Mother, Marjorie Van Hoven of Rexville and three brothers, Jason, Stephen and Shawnon (Chrissy) Bartholomew.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service. Private services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
