Obituary of Charles A. Paul
Charles “Charlie” Augustine Paul, 87, of Pahrump, Nevada passed away at home on Monday, October 8, 2018.
Born in Rochester, NY on June 20, 1931, Charlie was the son of the late Charles Allen and Marie Violet (McCormick) Paul. He was a 1949 graduate of the former Woodhull High School. He was employed as an IBEW journeyman electrician and Field Team Supervisor for Dynalectron Corp. He had been the owner and operator of Douglas Trailer Village in Douglas, Arizona.
Charlie was an avid reader of western novels and a close follower of NASCAR. He had an endearing love of watching his family grow and giving advice on how to repair anything. He loved to travel the back roads of America with his Fifth Wheel and meet people. He enjoyed having a cup of coffee with folks he met along the way. He often would make trips back to his hometown of Woodhull with camper in tow and spend summers on the family farm there.
Besides his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Reather Staley Paul.
Surviving is his longtime companion, Donna Hansen, his son and daughter in law, Chuck and Lisa Paul of Paola, KS, his daughters and sons in law, Cynthia and Cecil Lang of Tonapah, NV and Susan and Paul Holt of Reno, NV, his grandchildren, Jeff (Mandy) Kiersch, Jacob Kiersch, Jason (Veronica) Lang, Natalie Lang, Justiv Lang, Charles Kyle Paul, Laura (Clayton) Kellerman, Alyssa (Michael) Thomas, Kayla Paul and Sean Holt and great grandchildren, Jacy Kiersch, Jagger Kiersch, Carter Kellerman and two more on the way.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 20 at 11 am at the Woodhull Cemetery Chapel on the grounds of Woodhull Cemetery. Rev. Brian Diffenbacher will officiate.
Burial will follow in Woodhull Cemetery.
