Obituary of Lucinda L. Ordiway

       Lucinda (Cindy) Ordiway, 69, of Knoxville, PA, formerly of Greenwood, NY, beloved mother of Lori (Randy) Carl of Troupsburg, Joanne (AJ Allen) Ordiway of Rexville, Jenny Ordiway (Ken Wilson) of Fredericksburg, VA, Amanda (Colin) Pritchard of Corning and Kristi (Matt) Pace of Troupsburg, entered into rest at her home on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

       Born in Wellsboro, PA on August 21, 1949, Cindy is the daughter of the late Roy E. and Lois (Butler) Grist. She was raised in Troupsburg, NY and attended Troupsburg Central School.

       On November 18, 1967, she married Lester Ordiway who predeceased her in 2004.

       Loving and devoted grandmother of Roy Steuer, Joshua Wingert, Jaryn Wingert and Maia Pritchard. Dear sister to David (Bernie) Grist of Austinburg, PA, who predeceased her, Ron (Sharon) Grist of Addison, who also predeceased her, Susan Carroll of Norfolk, VA, Gayle Thomas of Woodhull, Darleen English of Woodhull, Nancy (Dan) Kimble of Unicoi, TN, Anne Dengler of Lawrenceville, PA, Wendy (Earl) Borden of Wellsboro, PA and Eric (Kerri) Grist of Elkland, PA. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Last, but not least, Cindy was very fond of her dog, Buster.

       The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Funeral services will be conducted there on Friday at 2 pm with Erick Potter officiating.

        Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Austinburg, PA.
