Obituary of Paul O. Crosby

TROUPSBURG: Paul O. Crosby, 87, of Price School Rd. passed away Sunday (August 5, 2012) at McAuley Manor in North Hornell where he had resided since February of 2011. Paul was born January 17, 1925 in the town of Canisteo (Adrian) to Seymour and Laura (Judd) Crosby. He was predeceased by a brother Lewis Crosby in January of 2011. On September 9, 1944, in Rexville, he married Veronica "Bonnie" O'Dell who survives and lives in North Hornell. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII. He had worked for many years as a machinist for the New York Central Railroad. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. In addition to his wife Bonnie Crosby, whom he had been married to for 67 years, he is survived by a sister-in-law Levonne Crosby of Adrian and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hrs. A Mass of Christian burial will take place Wednesday at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rexville. Burial will be in St. Mary's Churchyard Cemetery in Rexville.
