I remember very well that last time I saw the "Hound". We played golf together in Virginia in an outing Arch Gardner had arranged. I believe he borrowed a set of clubs that I had with me. He had spent time in my home town while on business out of the Coast Guard and we reminisced about the best fish fries in that part of the country. His dry wisdom and character will be remembered always. Rest in Peace, Classmate.
