James E. Mead, 64, of 2701 Hanshaw Road, Addison, NY, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 14, 2012. Born in Coudersport, Pa. on Oct. 27, 1947, Jim was the son of the late Harold J. and Frances Lovell Mead. He was last employed at MedPlast in Westfield, Pa. as a machine operator. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Mead and his sister, Barbara Mead. Surviving are his son, Matthew (Melissa) Mead of Addison, his daughter, Tequilla Mead of Pennsylvania, his brothers, George Robinson and Fred Robinson both of Galeton, Pa. and his sisters, Dorothy Blanchard of Addison and Sandy VanSkiver of Osceola, Pa. There were no services. Visitation was held on Thursday evening, August 16 from 6-8 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY.
