Obituary of Edwin M. Mills

Edwin M. Mills, age 81, formerly of 4526 County Rte. 11, Cameron Mills, NY passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Bath, NY. Born in Brookfield township, PA, November 4, 1930, he was the son of Arthur & Elouise Mascho Mills. He was a Navy veteran serving from 1948-1949. A retired self-employed auto mechanic, he had also been employed at the Elkland Leather Company and Ingersoll Rand Company at Painted Post. He married the love of his life, Marian L. Owlett February 5, 1951. She preceded him in death July 15, 2002. He is also preceded in death by his parents, his brother, William Mills, and sister, Marjorie Owlett. He is survived by his children, Pamela (Stanley) Mills Krise of Addison, NY, Dennis (Nancy) Mills of Erie, PA, Kathie Mills Evans, Marty Mills, Edwin A. (Cathy) Mills of Risingville, special daughters, Judy (Robert) Thompson of North Rose, NY and Sheila (Robert) Nowak of Wolcott, NY; 42 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and 17 great great grandchildren; his brother-in-law, Frank Owlett of Frostproof, FL, sister-in-law, Peggy Maines of Mainesburg, PA, Helen Hamblin of Addison, NY, & Genny Mills of Austinburg, PA; and several nieces & nephews. Friends may call Sunday, August 26, 1-3 & 6-8pm at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St., Woodhull, NY, where funeral & committal services will be conducted Monday at 11:00am.
