I just discovered that Sandy passed away a few years ago... I grew up next to her and she always took me out with her to help her get her Christmas tree. If anything happened to my parents, she was supposed to be my legal guardian when I was little... I am now 43 and have not had contact with her in 20+ years, but it hurts me to know I didn't get to say goodbye to her...

Only today I discovered that Sandy had passed away. So very sad. Just a few short years ago she spent a week at my house and we had such a good time catching up. To Gus and Rose and the rest of the family - we extend our deepest sympathy to you in your loss. I will miss her.
