Obituary of Sandra D. Rutledge

Rochester - Sandra D. Rutledge, 69, of Lowden Point Road, Rochester, passed away on Monday morning, Sept. 24, 2012 at Parkridge Community Hospital in Greece, NY following a short illness. Sandy was born in Washington DC on May 30, 1943, the daughter of Rosalind Austin and Sterrick Rutledge. She was a graduate of Jasper Central School. She retired after many years of employment from Eastman Kodak Co. in Rochester, working in the clerical field. She is survived by her mother and step father, Rosalind and Augustus Aldrich of Jasper, her brother and sister in law, Jeffrey and Michelle Aldrich of Jasper, her sister, Lisi Nye of Woodhull, her niece Ty and several cousins. Friends may call on Sunday, Sept. 30 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. A memorial service will follow at 8 PM with Rev. Brian Diffenbacher officiating. Burial will be made in Washington National Cemetery, Suitland, MD. Memorials in Sandy's name may be made to your local Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
