Saddens my heart to learn of Cloyse’s passing. I have a great deal of love and admiration for Cloyse. I remember how he use to wind the RPMs up on that old tire truck right before shifting. When the NY frostbite cold would get the best of me, he would send me back to the truck to get warmed up, as he continued working on those old Brockways trucks laying on its hub after losing the wheels from plowing snow. Cloyse was a role model for me in so many ways as I was growing through those years. Cloyse had such great patience teaching me about the trucks and equipment. I remember his dad playing partners in the lunch hour euchre games with Stewy and someone else at the old Cameron Mills shop. Cloyse senior would slam his cards down on the table and yell at Cloyse about how he knew Cloyse Sr was going to play his ha d a certain way. What a great family and people to have had been a part in their lives. Thank you Cloyse and Eda. Scot Osborne.
