I want to express my deepest sympathies to Kathy, Scott, and Michele. Mr. Bliss (as I called him) was a great man and very kind to not only me but my entire family. We began attending the Valley Chapel Free Methodist Church (Warsaw, NY) when I was in 9th grade in 1989. Mr. Bliss taught Sunday School and also was our Bible Quiz team leader, and we learned a lot about the Bible from him. The entire Bliss family was very welcoming to us. My brother and I (along with our dad) spent many hours at the Bliss home watching sporting events on TV, playing basketball outside, and eating delicious cookies that Kathy baked for us. He also taught me how to golf and we played many rounds throughout the spring and summer months. I have so many good memories of my time spent with Mr. Alan Bliss. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven someday!
