Sleepovers and dances at school! We had so much fun! Our talks on the phone and playing monopoly!! I would always let her win, of course! Swimming in her pool in the summer time and how gracious her parents were to me. The last time I seen Stacy was just before she got married to her first husband. She was so excited! And wanted me to be there. But life got in the way and my husband and I moved from the area around that time. When the tragedy of her father and husband happened, I was overwhelmed with grief. I kept thinking how can this happen to such great people? I tried reaching out to Stacy and found her number had changed. This week has flooded my mind and heart with so many memories. All those would’ve, could’ve, should’ves are now hidden by my tears. Thank you, Stacy, for being a part of my life! I will cherish those moments with you FOREVER! I LOVE YOU, SNICKERS!!!
