I loved Aunt Shirley. She was a kind Christian women who would speak of God and Jesus without fear. Why? Quite simply she loved them. She was the last living Baker of my Father's immediate Family. This loss is tough for all who cared for her. Her spirit though, moved on to greener pastures so to speak. She wins, and I believe she is in God's hands now and we should embrace her passing as though she is in a much better place than this world. Aunt Shirley and Uncle Joe would visit NY. and bring my brother and I simple presents that we deeply appreciated. One was a hopping cricket, the other might have been Mickey Mouse. I got the cricket. Anyway, She did not have any children so her nephews & Nieces were spoiled at young ages. I loved her for that. I will see her again and what a wonderful day that will be. May God bless her and keep her. She truly was, a very fine lady.
