I met Bette when I did her hair. We then met her then husband Al who needed to get rid of wood from trees he trimmed and cut. My husband Michael sold firewood and a wonderful friendship began. Bette was a good friend who was without a doubt funny, fun to visit with and true to her word. To say I enjoyed her company is an understatement. When my sister got married Bette said she would babysit our 6 month old son David. 50 pictures later she declared him the Gerber baby. I think her family watched him that day and didn't want to give him back!!! All my 3 boys called her "Aunt Bette. Great memories, friend, and will be missed. Love you Bette
