You are the best Dad and Papa in the whole world. It will not be the same without you here.
I could go to you for anything. You would listen, tell me it was going to be okay, and just hug me if I needed it.
I will always cherish our "road hunting" at Black Ash. Unfortunately, the "Big One" won that day. After trying to get your gun out of the back window, getting it stuck in the steering wheel, dropping it when you got out of the truck, you did get that shot off, but "Mr. Buck" was gone. You were so mad. After you got over it, we laughed for hours.
I am so grateful that Kayla, Mark, Michael, Sydney and Braelynn were fortunate to have you in their lives for a long time. Although Everett didn't get that chance, he will know who his Papa was and how much Papa loved him.
Don't you worry about Mom. We will take very good care of here and make sure she is okay. You are the love of her life. It will be hard on her, especially not hearing "Zill" all the time. I know you want her to continue on and do the things that she has always wanted to do. We will make sure she does.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Dyke. I only really knew him to see him. I also knew some of the grandchildren. I do know that he was very dedicated to the Addison community. He will be missed.

As many have before Dyke, are presently, and will in the future, Dyke selflessly and willingly gave of his time, talent, heart, and skills to his community. There is no greater contribution in life than giving back to others of oneself to benefit their community. Dyke exemplified those attributes in the extreme.
