I worked with Walt for over 20 years at Southern Tier Express. He could operate any machine, drive any truck, haul any oversize load...he spent many hours in excavators of any size and construction equipment of any kind. He was a machinist and a mechanic and able to fix most anything. He was a very humble man and easy to talk to. I called him to check on him when he got sick. I stopped to see him the day before he moved back to Woodhull and I told him that he needed to know about Jesus and he told me that he had already taken care of that...So I am sure that I will see him again in Heaven.
He was a great man. Roger York
