Dear family of Jean Doan, What a wonderful lovely lady. I always enjoyed being in Jeans company. Her laugh was priceless. We will miss her bright smile at the church activities. She was so loved and will be sadly missed. With sincere sympathy, Barbara and Bradley Ball

We are so very sorry for the loss of your Mom. She was definitely a Special lady. She loved to visit and had a heart of gold, especially with cats. Osceola will never be the same without Jean. I trust that she is now at her eternal home reunited with Jr and Rick. RIP

Ironically I met "Jean" at her hubby's funeral dinner: she was eating and I was one of the Church helpers, serving water: she asked me my name and we talked for a while and thus began a friendship.
We did a lot in these past 11 years, especially after I lost my hubby: eating out, going to Doctors, sitting at the Lake with other gals to chat and always have ice cream and sometime we just went for Ice Cream on Sunday nights in Elkland. We enjoyed many Church dinners together , lots of laughter and talked thru the sad times.
Jean Loved her Lord and I know he Welcomed her Home with open arms: she fought a good fight with her illness's and said many times she would be ready when He called her.
RIP my dear Friend.
Love:
Edna LeVan.
