Growing up with Carl as my oldest brother, I have many wonderful memories. Although Carl could be "Gruff" in his mannerism, I also witnessed his soft side over the years. Carl loved his family and there was not anything that he wouldn't do for them if he was able. He will be greatly missed by all and there will be a large void in our family unit. I love you, Carl and will miss you for the rest of my days. RIP

I am so sorry to hear of Carl's accident and passing. I worked with Carl at the Refractories Plant for many years and he always treated me with respect, although many times there was kidding inflicted. Carl wanted me to learn how to run a blanchard. Now that Carl and the Refractories plant are gone, I guess that will never happen. RIP Carl; you were a good buddy.
