Sorry to hear of Carl's passing. I will cherish the memories of going to Beaver's Pharmacy with my dad, Dr.Luther Gardner, to consult with Ed Beaver. I would spend my time talking with Carl about the NY Yankees while Dad spoke with Ed. Pleasant times.

Dear Marilyn, Jeff, Greg, and Christy: Your husband and Dad, Carl Chase, was for me, what made Canisteo what it was when I was a kid: a nice little town that was safe and where the grown-ups looked out for you. Going to Beavers to buy some penny candy and an Archie comic book is such a vivid memory for me. Besides that, I grew up spending weekends at cookouts or camping with your family. He was a kind and generous man. I'm sorry for your loss, but I know you are lucky to have had him as a husband and a father.
