I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Ordway. As a child I so enjoyed visiting your home and watching her work her baking and cooking magic. To this day her icebox chocolate oatmeal cookies are my favorite to make. I loved her icicle pickles as well. She was always so very kind and had the patience of a saint as we all traipsed through her home. She will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Ordway and all the family.

It is with fond remembrance that I offer prayers for the peaceful repose of Mrs. Ordway's soul in heaven. What a wonderful lady and friend to so many in our little village. To her daughter, Sally, my friend and classmate, she gave a wonderful sense of humor and caring attitude. I am so happy to have known her.
