Not many know this, but when folks who volunteered to cook turkey's for my daughter's wedding backed out Norma called me up and said, "You bring them birds to me and I'll make sure they are ready" and I'll add, she baked a few pies as well. All while caring for her live in, invalid mother. She was without a doubt, slight pause on my part because I'm searching for the right word, got it . . . GENUINE!!!!!

Norma was one of the sweetest ladies ever. Always had a smile and something good to eat for anyone who visited her. She loved people and enjoyed talking and laughing. She will be a bright star in heaven for sure.

As one of Norma's caregivers I want to say it was a pleasure taking care of her, and want to thank her family for letting me be a part of her life. Although she couldn't express herself with words she could light up a room with her smile. She will be greatly missed. May she RIP. To the family.....If you ever need anything PLEASE let me know. With deepest sympathy..Janice Eggleston.

To a wonderful and dear lady - she was our Auntie Norma - always smiling - loved that laugh. We weren't related but she always had time and lots of hugs for all of my brothers and sisters. Rest in peace sweet angel.

Thinking of you all and wish I could be there to share your grief. Norma and I were friends for over 80 years, and she will always be one of my favorite people. We laughed and cried together but never spoke a cross word to each other. I loved her and know you all will miss her. Love, Peg.

We knew Norma Crane as a kind and generous woman, whose beautiful spirit shone in everything she did. We thank the Lord for giving us the opportunity to know her. Jim remembers spending more time in Norma's kitchen with her feeding him her baked goods, than doing whatever chore John sent him to the house to do. We will miss her smiling face. Auntie Norma's heart seemed as expansive as the wide, blue sky that stretched out over her farmland. She always made us so welcome in her home, and at her table. I suppose she did that with many people from far and wide. She'll feel that same welcoming embrace in heaven. Norma loved my dad, Harold Kane, as well as my mom Janace. She didn't have to, she could have rejected them. But instead Norma's heart chose to love and care about them, and our whole family. And I believe that Norma's choosing to love was very influential in all our lives - especially to my mom, a young second-wife. Norma's love and acceptance of Janace set the tone for her life and the generations to follow. Xoxox Kathy "Whosoever destroys a soul, it is considered as if he destroyed an entire world. And whosoever that saves a life, it is considered as if he saved the world entire." The Talmud

Norma was one of the most beautiful, caring, loving, and giving people I know. She loved unconditionally. I loved to visit her and enjoy some homemade cookies and/or lunches. She was very interesting to listen to. I will miss you my dear friend but I know you are with Jesus and your family in Heaven.
