Dorr made beauty. Door extended friendship and hope at a terrible and frightening time in my life.
Dorr made community. He selflessly decorated the lobby at 475 Broad Street with stunning, world class artistry.
He made the place hum with home.We were treated to seasonal displays that engaged and bedazzled.
He gave my heart joy when I was bereft. I am so grateful for his wondrously welcoming being.
My deepest condolences to his kith and kin. May his spirit ever soar.

It was with great sadness I read Dorr's obituary. He was such a great man and as the obituary states an insperation to all who new him. I enjoyed working with Dorr as a Florist in Corning, NY for many years. I was great fun when in Rochester to stop in to the Dorr Collection for a visit. He will always be fondly remembered.

Though I did not know him well, I did know of him through family ties. He seemed a quiet but confident man. As with any of us, I sincerely hope any baggage was forgiven, and Jesus met him with open arms at Heaven's Pearly Gates. May all that knew him find peace, love and strength with his spiritual passing...Amen
